Facial Palsy: A Ray of Hope

Guided Therapy Programs If Your Recovery
Is Slow And More Complicated

You Can Look And Feel Like You Again

For Those Experiencing Slow Or Uneven Recovery
(6 Months or More)

You’ve made progress — movement has begun to return — but perhaps not as smoothly as you hoped. Some areas may feel tight, resistant, or overactive. You might notice assymetries in your face, partial eye closer or non-synchronized blinking, and the still the inability to create simple expressions.

This stage often brings frustration and uncertainty. It’s common to try harder, push more, or follow general advice that can unintentionally reinforce compensations. True progress now comes from listening, releasing, and retraining, not forcing.

Healing at this stage is about freeing what’s holding you back — physically and emotionally, — and restoring harmony in how your face moves and feels.

Your Recommended Path

EXPERIENCE HEALING IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME & IN YOUR OWN TIME!

Together, these programs provide the three pillars of continued recovery — structure, release, and expression.

Emotional Expression:
Bell's Palsy Therapy Program

Emotional Expression is a comprehensive, self-paced program designed to support individuals on their journey to recovering from facial palsy. True control and repatterning of facial movement come from coordinating facial exercises with intentional emotional activation. Find out why.

With practice, emotion-based exercises become natural and effortless—key to both preventing and recovering from synkinesis.

Emotional Expression Program:Facial Palsy Recovery

To support you in coordinating facial exercises with intentional emotional activation I have created a video gallery with the corresponding emotions and awareness of what is involved with creating the expression.  This ensures activation of both the emotional and motor centres of the brain.

As a visually oriented society, I've utilized a combination of animal and human images to depict expressions that evoke corresponding emotions.

This program includes:

  • 13 different expressions and their corresponding flavours – allowing you to customize your practice according to your schedule and requirements. You can practice all of them or focus more on any that you feel need extra attention.

    • Soft Smile, Surprise, Anger, Grinning, Embarrassment, Fear, Pondering, Sadness, Contentment, Disgust, Amusement, Irritation & Gratitude.

The entirety of this program can be practiced in 30 minutes and most individual videos average around 2 - 3 minutes in length.

Freedom Before Movement:
Bell's Palsy Therapy Program

Relaxation, stretching, massage, and patience are essential in Facial Palsy recovery. The facial muscles are intricately connected, working together as a unit. If you’re experiencing contraction on the affected side or a lack of freedom in any area, releasing that tension is crucial before movement can fully return. Forcing movement without release only creates resistance.

This program focuses on restoring a relaxed state in the muscles first, allowing for the return of natural movement and re-establishing harmony between all facial muscles.

Freedom Before Movement: Facial Palsy Recovery Program

Regaining facial movement after Bell’s Palsy or facial paralysis is more than just exercising the muscles—it begins with freeing tension, calming the nervous system, and restoring balance. The Freedom Before Movement program is designed to support your recovery by addressing the underlying challenges of tight, tense, or contracted facial and neck muscles, as well as overactive nerve signals that can interfere with smooth movement.

Over the course of a transformative 5-day program, you'll explore:

  • Releasing Muscle Tension – Gentle guided techniques to relax overactive or contracted muscles in the face and neck.

  • Stretching Shortened Tissue – Focused techniques to elongate restricted muscles and fascia, allowing for greater mobility, addressing stiffness and muscle imbalances common in facial palsy.

  • Calming Nerve Overactivity – Strategies to reduce excessive nerve signaling that can lead to tightness or involuntary movements.

  • Massage Therapy – Hands-on methods to improve circulation, soften restrictions, and encourage natural movement patterns.

  • Integrated Daily Practice: Seamlessly combine all elements into a coherent, daily routine designed to be both effective and manageable in less than 20 minutes per day

By preparing the face and neck for movement through release and relaxation, this program helps create the foundation for smoother, more coordinated recovery.
